Group Details for new Project

Here's what's similar between Luke, Raul and I:

We're all 17, juniors, men and straight.

Here's what's different:

We have different backgrounds and beliefs.

Some unique strengths we bring to the group:

I am very good at tech stuff, and Raul is "somewhat" knowledgeable about music and art.

The Challenge we face is that all three of us have never worked in the same group before.

Project Reflection

The art techniques that I used to create my project were piecing together some good sound loops in Garageband, although it was difficult because I had no Garageband loops to use, so I had to borrow some of Ted's loops. I had to find loops that went well together at 90 bpm, because I was going to sing on it. I ended up working with Nathan, so he wrote the lyrics, and I wrote the music and sang on it. So, the song ended up being a comedy rap called "Cow Tippin'" and I must admit I had a difficult time singing to it, because I've never had to sing about something like cow tipping.

Connecting my definitions of ART

My definition of Art is something that comes out of pure creativity, not something that comes from reflecting another piece of art. Just because you can play an instrument doesn't make you an artist, you have to create something with that instrument.

My project is good example of art because we are the ones who wrote the lyrics and copied and edited the samples to make the music enjoyable.

The feelings and moods our song communicates are joy, happiness, humor, and other good feelings! Woo!

The most difficult part of the project so far is writing lyrics. We're still in the process of writing them at the moment... but they will be the best damn lyrics ever.
